View all 107 ReflectionsOn behalf of my family I would like to say thank you for all your well wishes. My name is Herberta John, sister to Mike. I should add that he is my only sibling. It has been a hard journey for us but with heart felt words of encouragement we keep on. I have 5 children and 3 grandchildren that were very close to their uncle. My mom and dad has been taking this very hard and their has not been a day that she has not shed tears. More so this pandemic keeps us all from being their physically for each others. We will miss his random text messages about Bigfoot's footprint on his porch, his humour, his laughter, the way he would look up from his phone, clearing of his throat, etc. So many that I can go on and on. My grandson 2 yrs. old saw a person that resemble his grandpa and say mom look, waving. Young as he is, he knows his grandpa. So we are grieving and hoping for better days.
Thank you for your service and god bless.
