Please accept our deepest regret for our hero, Police Officer Paul Dunn, family, friends and colleagues. Our words can never comfort loss of others. But just as everyone else we also have experimented the loss of our loved ones. Where can we really find true comfort?

2 Corinthians 1: 3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4. who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any [a]trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God" (New King James Version).
Where can we find true comfort? Through his words the Bible. Meditating in his word will help us fortify our relationship, faith and bring us closer to him. In addition, Matthew 6:10 "Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Part of his plan is to bring back and reunite us with our families. Jesus Christ showed how easy it would be in John 11: 23. Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”
24. Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” 25. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Jesus and his disciples like Martha and Maria sisters of Lazarus believed in this miracle the resurrection also, they knew that Jesus had the powers to bring back to life those who have fallen. But what was Martha's response when Jesus asked her: " Do you believe this?” verse 27. She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

What they didn't know the surprise that awaited for them. He was not going to resurrect Lazarus right there and not as they were taught at a later time.

Please review with your Bible what happens next John 11: 38-44.

Did she thought he was going to bring Lazarus back to life? No. They enjoyed their brother once again. What can we learn from this? Martha believed in Jesus and recognized his was "the Son of God" verse: 27. Then he looked up and pray to his farther verse: 41 afterwards he simply said, “Lazarus, come forth!”
As we saw just as if someone was sleeping and someone cries your name and then you awaken. Reading the word of God can help us through these times. Hope this was comforting and assuring. We will see our love ones again soon. For more information please visit us at: jw.org. You can look in the search engines any topic.
