Not a month goes by that I don't think of my High School friend, Marty. Our friendship was cut short from his tragic encounter. As the 2020 news stories unfold about defunding police my thoughts go back to this event. I remember Marty's passion to Serve and Protect and He gave his all to follow through on his commitment. I often think whey we do not hear these stories broadcast on the nightly news. I know the majority of Police Officers are just like Marty. Thank you Marty for your willingness to give in all that you did. Your life impacted my life, for that I will be grateful and when I see you in the next life I will give you a big bear hug and tell you face to face "Thank You!"
