View all 238 ReflectionsDeidre knew where she needed to serve before she graduated the academy. I was worried for her from the start but her love for Christ and calling to serve was greater than my worry. Deidre cared deeply for those she swore to protect, and the community she felt called to serve.
She was an amazing mother, her son was her heart and her whole world. I had the privilege of watching her care for and love her son and mine. Her son is the sweetest boy I know. Our boys have known each other from a young age and I pray that they continue to be close like Deidre and I have been since our youth. I miss her more than anything I have ever lost but I know she is in the presence of our lord and savior Jesus Christ in eternal happiness. Her character is unimpeachable and she is a great, loving, christian woman that should be remembered as such.
