I still miss you my friend. You were taken from us shortly after I moved to another agency and sometimes I wonder if I could have helped had I been around when the incident happened. I look back at some of our old text messages and smile. We had good times in the academy together. We worked through the tough times and laughed at the good times. I would call you young buck and you responded by calling me grandpa. You would sometimes seek my opinion on relationship matters and we’d sit and talk through it. Even though I was much older than you I had great respect for your work ethics and your dedication and I told you this. You were always opinionated but you were humble. Your goodness heavily outweighed your flaws. I could go on and on but I just wanted to say: “I miss you young buck”. Rest In Peace my brother.
