Police Officer Mathew Mazany was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver while assisting another officer during a traffic stop on Route 2, near Route 306, at approximately 1:00 a.m.

Worked with him a few times as a security guard, he never knew it, but I learned a lot watching him do his thing. Doing this definitely has helped me as I began my Law Enforcement Career. Greatly missed.
