View all 212 ReflectionsWhile in-route to an appt nearby Deputy Belanger Way, Walnut, CA, my young child and I noticed the oddity of a public street names after a deputy which promoted us to research and learn the tragedy of Deputy Belanger. Although we have our own misfortunes with a few unjust officers along our life journey, we honor officers who justly deserve our gift of time contributing towards their bravery, good intentions to keep us safe, the dedication, and the sacrifices they sowed towards such. We send loving remembrance blessings towards this deputy, his colleagues, and foremost his family…even this long later. The street named in honor of him, keeps his name and work alive and definitely inspires people in our ability to give as Deputy Belanger did, for others. Amen
