View all 20 ReflectionsI honestly don’t know how to start this. Tonight at dinner my father told me your story. My father was in his early 20’s at the time working for Miami Dade County Police Department. He just finished a traffic stop on his midnight shift when he heard a woman screaming on the radio “an officer has been shot at the circle k”. My father raced there and held you. There was a lot more to the story but it just brings a lot of pain to talk about it. I pray for your family. Even though I don’t know you, your name and story will never be forgotten by me. Thank you for your service
