Oh Ephriam so it is time to tell what others do not know, now that I have found a place to write it... Time to tell that I was your partner / co-worker on midnight shift in Opa Locka that June 1986. To tell that I cleaned that gun of yours the week before you died because you hated doing it, and we had just completed qualifications. Time to tell how I lived 2 blocks from where it happened, how I heard it and raced over there in time to ride with you to Parkway in Rescue 26, and how I was with you in the last moments and how I go to your grave in June and November. How I think of you when other officers are shot, and how you always told me you would dance at my wedding! As long as I am around you are too, I hope your family gets to read this, I would have liked to have met them so they would know you had a true friend in those last days and moments.
