Patrol Officer James Price was killed in a motorcycle crash near the intersection of Main Street and Coal Street while on duty at approximately 1:30 am.

The motorcycle struck a utility pole after he lost control of it as he neared the end of his shift.

Officer Price was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and had served with the Plymouth Borough Police Department for only three months. He was survived by his wife.
