My mother, Frances Trentham, was 13 when she lost her brave policeman father. She passed away in 1984, but I and my sisters have heard the sad story of my grandfather's death all my life (I am now 78). My mother would be grateful to know her father's name will be engraved in a place of honor in Washington DC on May 13, 2016.
