Errata :
The apprehension of Maurice Ahearn's murderer apparently occurred 1903 and not 1905 as previously indicated.
In 1905 Anthony Lipsio was awarded the sum of $1,000 for the apprehension and later conviction of of Francesco Raffo in the above homicide.
While recently reviewing newspaper articles published in 2003, I am unable to find mention of Anthony's participation in the actual arrest of Raffo. Anthony did receive the $1,000 reward which was verified in one newspaper publication titled "25 Years Ago in New Rochelle " and via family oral history.
My appologies to one and all for the previous incorrect date
