Dad, events this weekend have brought me back to my childhood. Standing at your grave and missing you. Knowing I'm alone with you gone my father my hero. I have to grow up without your wisdom and guidance. Your smiles and hugs that say more than words. I'm now grown have children and have tried my best to instill the greatness I know was in you into them. And never miss the chance to tell your great grandchildren what awsome marine and police officer you were. A deputy was gunned down this weekend and he leaves a young son like I was alone and afraid because dad will never be there again only in his memory. How do we forgive , how do we move forward live life normal again when the world has once again been shattered. I'm doing like you and the deputy did. Stand tall stand strong be kind and loving and try to make a differance in someone's life. Miss you dad.hope to see you some day. Love Claude Jr
