Having crossed the Trooper Sean M. O'Connell bridge in Skagit County, Washington countless times, it felt appropriate to pay my respects. My recent life experiences have led me to have a deeper and greater appreciation for law enforcement, and though I have no memory of the event in which you were killed, I acknowledge all of your service (including the Navy) as well as the positivity you have put forth to help all of us in our life journey as human beings from the life lessons you teach from your very existence on this planet. Condolences to your family. Thank you for your service and may you rest in peace.
