Bruce Linwood Drummond

Deputy Keeper Bruce Drummond succumbed to injuries sustained three years earlier when he was injured while on duty at the New Jersey State Prison in Trenton.

The injury caused paralysis and ultimately left him bedridden. His condition deteriorated until he passed away from his injuries on March 20th, 1919.

Deputy Drummond had served with the New Jersey Department of Corrections for six years at the time of the accident. He was survived by his wife and six children.
