Officer Boyle had served with the Dobbs Ferry Police Department for 20 years. He was survived by his expectant wife and 11 children.

Officer Boyle was the first line of Duty death in Westchester County NY. Officer Boyle was electrocuted while clearing wires, leaving behind his wife and 13 children. Thank you for your service and your sacrifice to the Village of Dobbs Ferry.
