The reason Uncle George is on the Memorial is a great had told me the story. A few years back I hooked up with cousin who lived in Fargo N.D., he in turn made contact with someone he new with the N.D. Almanac. The research found the story to be true, and George Dixon now lives on now in North Dakota history. I am retired from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
