Tauveve Vivao
Officer Tauveve Vivao suffered a fatal heart attack while participating in a department physical training exercise aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii.
He was transported to Castle Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Officer Vivao was retired from the U.S. Army after serving for 24 years, including in Operations Desert Storm (1991) and Iraqi Freedom (2004) and had served with the Marine Corps Base Hawaii Police Department for two years. Officer Vivao was one of the first civilian officers to graduate from the Marine Corps Base Hawaii Police Department's Academy in 2008. He is survived by his wife and eight children.
