Harvey Dezarn was murdered on a hot August night in 1936 after the entire Police Force quit. Undaunted, Harvey still stayed on patrol and was cut down by 12 gauge shotguns. Still to this day the town of Manchester, Kentucky has not acknowledged his sacrifice. Not even a byline or a plaque, thank God Washington D C and sworn relatives from Virginia & Tennessee did. *Full story is kept at the Clay County Historical Society in Manchester, Kentucky.
