Kenneth Earl McNeill

Patrolman Kenneth McNeill succumbed to injuries sustained on November 11, 1936, in a motorcycle crash on U.S. Highway 15, two miles south of Hartsville.

Patrolman McNeill had just completed a traffic stop on a vehicle heading south. He was attempting to turn around when a motorist heading north struck him, throwing him off his motorcycle.

Patrolman McNeill was transported to Columbia Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on January 2, 1937.

Patrolman McNeill had served with the South Carolina Highway Patrol for over a year. He was survived by his wife, son, parents, and two sisters.
