Rest well, this senseless act that took your life, and which took you away from your family saddens me greatly. As a recruit with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept, Class 429, things like this are always in the back of my mind. It is my hope that come graduation I will be able to join the ranks of law enforcement and to always bring honor and credit upon the profession, as you did.
