Dexter Carleton Krulis

Military Police Officer (Specialist) Dexter Krulis was shot and killed while conducting a traffic stop.

The vehicle Specialist Krulis had stopped was occupied by three soldiers who had just robbed a branch of the Southern National Bank and were attempting to escape.

The subjects fled the scene but were later captured. All three subjects were convicted in federal court of armed robbery as well as the murder of Specialist Krulis and were sentenced to prison. All three subjects have since been released.

MP Krulis was survived by his wife.
