Dexter Carleton Krulis

Military Police Officer (Specialist) Dexter Krulis was shot and killed while conducting a traffic stop.

The vehicle Specialist Krulis had stopped was occupied by three soldiers who had just robbed a branch of the Southern National Bank and were attempting to escape.

The subjects fled the scene but were later captured. All three subjects were convicted in federal court of armed robbery as well as the murder of Specialist Krulis and were sentenced to prison. All three subjects have since been released.

MP Krulis was survived by his wife.

I was the administrator of the M.P.I. section when M.P Krulis was assassinated. The vehicle that officer Krulis was driving had a defective radio transmitter. He was able to receive information, but not able to transmit it. On his way to buy lunch for fellow investigators, he heard the report of the bank robbery and encountered the perpetrators. He turned around and did stopped the three criminals. Gunfire was exchanged and Krulis ran out of bullets. We looked for him 24/7. He was found days later...
