Edward A. Parker, III

Officer Edward Parker suffered a fatal heart attack following a vehicle pursuit of a motorcyclist.

He was found slumped behind the wheel of his patrol car and taken to a local hospital. He suffered two more heart attacks and died two days later.

Officer Parker had served with the California Highway Patrol for 10 years. He was survived by his wife and two children.

I remember Ed as my Dad,Tim Harris', partner when I was young. My youngest son has Parker as his first name because of Ed. My father passed away 3 months ago and in the months prior he talked about The Parkers and wondered how the family was. His family and he will always be in our hearts.
