Morning Daddy, I was just reflecting back and thinking about you. You are always on my mind and heart but heavier at times than others. You just had your 44th birthday, police week will be here soon and your daughter turns 16 in 20 days. She put a countdown on my phone so I know exactly how many days are left till she turns sweet 16. This is the year I give her your police bracelet we have been waiting to give her. The kids and I have been going through pictures and videos of you. The last picture of you that I took of Maddy was the one where you where giving her a goodbye kiss. Such a sweet blessing of a picture to have. I miss you daily! We go in two weeks to Honor you and our friends who have paid that ultimate sacrifice. It's always bitter sweet. It rekindles feelings that I've pushed down just to be able to breathe without you. But it also Honors you so I proudly go. I'll never stop representing you. You chose me to walk by your side through the good and the bad and that's just what I'll continue to do...carry on your name and your legacy.
Love you daddy! Love your lil momma Christy
