Lt Huckabee, I came to work at Sweetwater PD in 1967. As a rookie officer I looked up to you and all the other officers whose job it was to train me. At that time there were no formal Police Academies and young rookies like me received on the job training from well trained officers such as yourself. I continued in law enforcement for 47 years and will never forget that first police job with you, Glenn Brazelton, Ted Hatcher, Sgt Smith (Smitty), Gerald Byrd, Sgt Johnny Rose, Chief Eubanks, Edith Brothers, etc. etc. Someday we will all sit down together and discuss "the good old days".
