I am currently a Deputy Sheriff and patrol Oak Park. An older member of the community approached me and said that I reminded him of Officer Bennett. I had no idea who that was. He told me how Officer Bennett helped him get out of criminal activity and helped him get a job as a plumber. The positive impact Officer Bennett had on the area has lasted generations. It was a honor to be compared to Officer Bennett and I hope that i can have a lasting positive impact, the same way he did.
