James Richard Miller

Sergeant James Miller was killed in an automobile accident on Dreshertown Road, near Welsh Road, while responding to the scene of another accident at approximately 4:15 am.

Sergeant Miller was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the War on Terrorism. He had served with the Upper Dublin Township Police Department for 28 years. He is survived by his wife, two children, and two grandchildren.

Sarge, It's hard to comprehend that I rode the Unity Tour in your honor the year after you death. So much has changed. I've retired and started a new chapter in my life but each Christmas I hang a memorial ornament in your honor and I think of your family often.
