Tomorrow it will be 15 years since your death. I think of you and your mentorship often. In December 2018, I attended Blue Courage Leadership Training at LASD and walked to a table with two Commanders who happened to be from Westminster and both knew you. One was your protégé as a young motorcycle rookie. I know 100% that was you pushing me to that table and now over a year later I’ve embarked on a new career as an EM and we will head off to Texas. Thank you for being a father figure and mentor to so many Defenders and Police Officers. Tomorrow the kids and I will play some Barry Manilow and The Beatles and smile!

Never forgotten!
