Though I never had the pleasure to meet Andy, i felt like i got to know him while investigating his and Roy Lee's murder. I was one of several FBI agents who partnered with the Navajo Tribal Police to bring their murderers to justice. During the course of the investigation, I learned that Andy was a beloved and excellent officer. In every picture I saw of him, Andy always had a big smile on his face. What a huge loss to his family, the Navajo Nation, the law enforcement profession and our country. Andy remains in my thoughts to this day, 30 years later. To Andy's family, he was a great man, thank you for his service and sacrafice.
