Alfred Thiele

Patrolman Alfred Thiele was killed when his police motorcycle collided with a trolley car at Washington Street and Branford Place in Newark.

He was en route to the precinct when he crashed. Patrolman Thiele was thrown underneath the trolley and crushed under the wheels. He died en route to the hospital.

Patrolman Thiele had served with the Newark Police Division for almost four years.
