As a telecommunicator for PCSO during that time, I was devistated to learn of his passing. While working at another PD and received a pin message explaining what happened. Although I didn't know you that well you always had a kind word and a lot of patience with dispatch which made things a little more relaxed in a stressful profession. God welcomed you home and we mourned the loss of a great deputy. I still this many years later think of you often and and I think about what a great person your family friends and the citizens of pender county lost on that dreadful day. We miss you brother and cherish all of the memories you created in us.
