View all 21 ReflectionsOfficer Beauregard, it's now been 36 years since the incident that took you and your partner's lives at the hands of animals. You have not been forgotten. I am embarrassed to say that I cannot recall if I attended your funeral or your partners or both, but both were almost one. Two heroes were lost in one incident and one city, one Commonwealth and one nation mourned, but many families suffered. Two families at home, the Springfield Police, and all Police families in Massachusetts.
Brother, God Bless you and may your eternal rest be ever Peaceful.
