Constable Holton was stabbed several times and had his throat slit while he was attempting to serve a warrant. The warrant was still in Holton's pocket when his body was found. The suspect was arrested.

Rest In Peace constable Holton. He would be, I believe, my great great great Grandfather. He would be proud to know that his grandson down the line chose to follow the path of being a law man. I believe he was the first Law Enforcement Official in the state of Kentucky to be killed in the line of duty.
