Deputy Huffington was my great uncle via his wife Clara H (Harrison) Heffingtion. My great grandmother, Lenora H (Harrison), was his niece. Lanora was born in Lee county in 1866. When I was a child she told me stories of her life in the late 1800s. In 1891 she named my grandmother Clara Lee. The Herrington story is one I have enjoyed researching as I've aged.

I spent 22 years in the US military as a Military Police officer.

Thanks for your work on this issue.
