“Mikie”Johns, it’s been a long time since you left this world and I’ve been able to say how much I’ve missed you being with us here at Coppell PD. You were a mentor for me and I respected your wisdom, but I also had fun with the silly stuff that we did to make work tolerable. We had some great times and we worked some rough calls too. The Jokes we told and pulled on each other as well as on the rest of the department made the time go and those thoughts still make me laugh. I’ll always remember being in the break room and we watched the 9/11 attacks as they happened. I’ll never forget you as a coworker and friend. Rest In Peace my friend. Never Forgotten. McDonald’s Pancakes in your honor every December 28..........
