View all 63 ReflectionsBill, you and I had the craziest calls together. I still remember many of them. And of course every one of those patients had to go to Emanuel Hospital so you could see Corrie. I still remember that call on a guy who fell down. We ended up finding out he had no legs and his artificial legs had collapsed under him. We put him on the bus and on his way. As we were getting ready to clear to call somebody else flag this down. We ran over there and here was another guy with no legs, plus he had no arms. I remember looking at you and saying, is this some kind of cruel joke, you couldn’t stop laughing. And of course we went to Emanuel. We had some other pretty crazy calls together. I am retired now, and you would be also. Looking at your face on this website made me cry. I always hope your wife and kids are doing well. Your daughter posted on this website and I’m here to tell her that you were a good man. The the world is a lesser place without you in it.
