It’s hard to believe it’s been over 22 years. After 13 years of working in law enforcement there is not a day that goes by that I’m not reminded of you. I still keep a picture of you on my desk. Those long days when I’m at my wits’ end and I start to question my career path, I look at that picture for motivation. You embodied every thing a police officer should strive to be. There’s been so many times when I could feel your presence. I’ve been on the range all day training these young officers and as you would say, “it’s hotter than all get out” but just the thought of you pushes me through. I love brother. See you when I get there.
