I worked for the Morehouse Parish Sheriff Dept. 1998-1992. Doug was our parish trooper. I continued to work with him when I was hired by the La State Police In 1992. I was the dispatcher who took the initial call about Doug’s crash. I was friends with him and his wife. I knew his mother and daddy. I worked with his dad at the sheriff dept. Doug was an excellent trooper and loved his family very much. I watch both of his sons grow up. One of them has two children now. I am still friends with his wife.
