Daniel Earl Rice

Patrolman Daniel Rice was killed when his patrol car was broadsided at the intersection of Schoenersville Road and Westgate Drive.

Patrolman Rice was a U.S Army veteran of the Vietnam War who served 26 years with the Bethlehem Police Department and received 20 commendations for his service. He is survived by his wife and three children.

On today, the 25th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just for your Community but for our Country as well when you served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
