Miguel Javier Maldonado

Agent Miguel Maldonado died after being in a single car crash while on patrol in Brownsville, Texas. He was responding to emergency when his vehicle crossed the center line, went into a ditch, and flipped over. It is believed that wet road conditions contributed to the accident.

Agent Maldonado had served with the agency for 17 years and had previously served with the United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his wife and one child and is buried in Toluca Private Cemetery located in Progreso Lakes, Texas.

Sir, even though it's been 18 years since your send of Watch you are still honored and remembered. I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country-not just in the USBP but when you served as a U.S. Marine as well.
