Growing up as a cops kid I was always aware of the dangers that went along with the job. But when you were killed it struck close to home. You and my father worked together in narcotics. It was the first time, unfortunately not the last, that I had a personal connection to someone killed in the line of duty. May you continue to rest in peace sir. God Bless.
