James S. Weir

Officer James Weir was killed in a crash when the police ambulance he was riding in collided with a police cruiser at the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard and West Street while the two responded to a shooting call.

He was thrown from the ambulance and his head struck a curb.

Officer Weir was survived by his wife and three daughters.
