Deputy Sheriff Joseph Baca suffered an allergic reaction after being stung by several bees.
He was struggling with a suspect and was pushed into a bees nest and was stung. He was able to arrest the suspect and returned to his vehicle where he became unconscious. He was taken to a local hospital where he died.
The suspect Deputy Baca was struggling with was committed to a state hospital.
