Officer Wainwright ( great grandfather ) Thank you for your service and sacrifice. Even though i never got to meet you, your son, my grandfather told many stories about how great of a man you were. I believe it was some of his stories about you that helped paved the way for me to follow in your footsteps and become a police officer myself. I begin each tour of duty by reading your ODMP page and praying for your guidance and protection, at the end of each tour of duty i thank you for being my co-pilot and getting me home safely so i can see my wife and children. I wish i could have met you,but even through stories you have left a huge impact on my life. Rest easy Officer Wainwright and thank you again. Until Valhalla.
