St. Elmo C. Trower

Police Officer St. Elmo Trower was killed in a motorcycle accident while pursuing a speeding car at approximately 8:00 pm.

His vehicle struck a buggy being pulled by a horse on Virginia Beach Boulevard. He was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds early the following morning.

Officer Trower had served with the agency for just over one year.

I pay respect to, and honor your fallen family member, Police Officer St Elmo C. Trower, for his service to the former Princess Anne County, Virginia, my home for several years while growing to maturity. I too, served my community with the then Virginia Beach, Virginia Police Department.
