On Tuesday, June 25, 2019, FWC officers, Instructors, and Recruits from Class 38 honored fallen Officer Jimmy Thompson in the form of a Memorial Workout for his ultimate sacrifice when he gave his life on June 25, 1968. His legacy has paved the way for officers that have and continue to wear the badge of our agency; while being a shining example for future officers such as those of the FWC Academy Class 38. We gave our all during the memorial workout to honor his impact on future generations of FWC members and the public that enjoy the resources Florida has to offer. Thank you brother, we will always remember and honor your service to the agency and the Great State of Florida.
