View all 9 ReflectionsSheriff Ten Eyck hired my mother, Dorothy Martin, as the first female deputy sheriff of Pecos County (1957). I was a child but I well remember him and I know my mother loved her job there. I still have her badge and photographs of her there in the office. RIP Sheriff Ten Eyck.
