Clyde L. "Doc" Taylor

Federal Prohibition Agent Doc Taylor suffered a fatal heart attack following a shootout in Leadville, Colorado.

He was attempting to arrest a man for making moonshine at the time of the incident.

Agent Taylor was a United States Army Spanish American and World War I veteran and served with the Prohibition Unit for 11 months. He was survived by his wife and two brothers.

On today, the 100th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but also when you served with the U.S. Army during the Spanish-American War and World War I.
