I was a 2 decade long (serving) Buffalo NY Police Officer. I served in the same Pct. as Officer Bob Arnold and had a number of calls to that exact address where our hero officer Robert Arnold was murdered. 1 call there, in the mid 90's had the makings of a call going sideways and becoming a violent confrontation. Thankfully, cooler heads prevailed and someone went to jail for the night instead of a worse case scenario. I told my new partner at the time about Officer Arnold's call at that address. It really hit home for us both. I will tell you this. Officer Arnold's sacrifice and service will NEVER EVER be forgotten or minimized. As with all our 51 Police Officers we've lost in service to our city, we will ALWAYS remember. We will NEVER forget, because there by the grace of GOD goes I.
