It takes a certain kind of person to put their life on the line every day, protecting their community. Protecting those who cannot protect themselves. They are aware there will not always be warm welcomes and friendly greetings from everyone they interact with, but they do the job anyway. Too many officers have paid the ultimate price in the line of duty. I've had the privilege of learning about Trooper Donald A. Strand and keeping his legacy alive as I strive to pursue my goals in this line of work.

A life that touches other's lives on forever.

Rest in peace, Trooper Strand
