Agent Stone suffered a fatal heart attack while arresting a suspect. Agent Stone had responded to a request for assistance from the Kingfisher County Sheriff's Office. He located the suspect a short time later and attempted to arrest him, but the suspect resisted.
Before collapsing, Agent Stone handcuffed the man to his steering wheel to prevent him from escaping. The county sheriff transported Agent Stone to El Reno Hospital where he died a short time later.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
